  • Called what you call them. Paati stays Paati. Your nicknames stay yours.
  • Each story grows one bond. A garden morning with Thatha, a rainy evening with Amma.

I'm Dinesh, a dad in Chennai. I couldn't find a bedtime story in Tamil with my daughter Riya in it, so I started building one after work. Riya is in the Tamil books you see here. If something isn't right, write to me directly: dinesh@kadhaikutty.in

    Questions parents ask.

Will it look like my child?

We paint each person from the photo you add, in watercolour. Every page is checked by AI against your family's photos before you see it. If something looks off, ask for a repaint in the app.

    What happens to the photos?

Each photo is used only to paint that person. Photos are stored in India (AWS) and shared only with the services that paint your pages. They're never used to train AI, and there are no ads. Delete them anytime: Settings → Account → “Revoke Consent & Delete Data”, or kadhaikutty.in/delete-data.html.

It's made with AI. Is that safe for my kid?

AI writes and paints each book for your family, and you read it aloud together. Every page is checked by AI against your photos before you see it. No ads. Nothing starts until a parent consents, and we follow India's DPDP Act.

Which languages? Is it in Tamil script or English letters?

Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam or Kannada, each mixed with English the way families talk, or plain English. Stories are written in English letters (Tanglish, Hinglish and the rest), so anyone can read them aloud.

    What ages is it for?

    Ages 2 to 8.

Do I need a photo of everyone?

Yes. One clear photo of your child and of each person you want in the stories. That's how we paint them.

What does it cost after the beta?

Your first book is free. Then one-time packs: a Mini Pack is ₹499 for 3 more books, and a Full Season is ₹1,299 for 10 books, about ₹130 a book. Never a subscription. Founding Families get a full season free with the code EARLYBIRD26.

Can't I just ask an AI chatbot for a story?

You'd get one story. Here you get the same faces in book ten, your whole family as the cast, your nicknames remembered, and books that arrive on the nights you choose.

We live abroad, or use an iPhone. Can we join?

The beta is Android only, in India, the US, UK, Canada, Australia, UAE and Singapore. If that's you, join here. On iPhone or somewhere else? Leave your email and you'll be first to know.

We have two kids. Can both be in it?

Yes. Add both, and siblings take turns as the hero.
